Fords Colony wedding – Williamsburg, VA
I love, love, LOVE Williamsburg weddings and living so close to so many beautiful venues makes me one lucky photographer. So it was really great to be back for a Fords Colony wedding a couple weeks ago and can’t wait to share over 600 photos with the happy couple and all their guests next weekend.
In case you have never been there, Fords Colony has beautiful accommodations on the opposite side of the traffic circle from the clubhouse at Marriott Manor (where the bridal party started their day). And then you can use their vans or golf carts to get over to the clubhouse where they host wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Alice and Trevor didn’t want to do a first look before the wedding so they held hands around the corner to the ballroom where their ceremony was going to be for a semi-private moment (minus me, my second shooter, and the videographer 😉 The short and sweet wedding ceremony in the ballroom. Afterwards, their guests were only a few feet away from cocktails and the reception under their permanent tent while we stepped out front for a few family portraits and then took a golf cart for a few portraits around Fords Colony.
A truly gorgeous bride and the perfect weather for nice light and a fun night under the tent at this Fords Colony wedding.
