Harrison Opera House wedding – Norfolk, VA
Despite having photographed hundreds of weddings, I love that no wedding is ever the same because the moments that happen make each one unique. And Julia and Brian made their Harrison Opera House wedding in Norfolk, VA AMAZING with tons of uniquely personal details as well.
Not only did Julia design her wedding dress, a spiral ceremony, and throw a beanie baby octopus after the bouquet and garter, her octopus theme (a wedding first for me), and vision to recreate the Norfolk mermaid pose kept my creative mind working overtime all day. And I loved every second of it!
It was really great returning to the Harrison Opera House and my new dance floor lighting system worked GREAT with their beautiful two-story windows. Enjoy the highlights and if you were a guest you can see over 800 photos this weekend! (Love having my talented husband as a second shooter 🙂
