Lesner Inn Wedding

Lesner Inn wedding – Virginia Beach, VA

 

I started my day for this Virginia Beach wedding at the bride’s house while my trusty second shooter waited for the guys to arrive at the hotel down the street. Everyone got ready (almost on time 😉 and then we all met up at a beautiful, covered Virginia Beach access (scouted out ahead of time by the gorgeous bride) for an emotional first look and portraits with the bridal party.

We got to relax at the Lesner Inn for a few moments before the wedding ceremony on the balcony, got a few touching portraits with the bride and her parents, and then I set up my lights on the balcony for the ceremony (which I always do for a Lesner Inn wedding) so I could capture the beautiful water backdrop. We got an amazing sunset for our family portraits after the wedding ceremony, I could’ve taken photos for an hour, but we kept them short so Courtney & Zach could enjoy their cocktail reception.

Most of the day we were right on schedule but the bride still managed to surprise me by changing into a different dress before the bouquet & garter toss. And personally creating an AMAZING selfie booth – seriously, you should market it Courtney!! The only real hiccup was getting their getaway car decorated before the walked through the sparkler exit outside the Lesner Inn but with a little help they had a great sendoff.

Beautiful weather, a deeply in love couple, and a very fun group of people made for lots of great moments all day long and LOTS of great photos.
