It has been a SUPER busy spring with LOTS of engagement and couples portrait sessions, despite the rainy weekends and chilly weather. There have been so many highlights this season and I’ve been playing around with a few new filters for my sessions, so I’m excited to show them off a bit!
Spring Couples Portrait Sessions in VA
I got to work with so many wonderful couples this spring season!
Keith and Vanessa were celebrating their anniversary at Marriott Manor at Ford’s Colony. Keith is blind, so watching him pull out his guitar to serenade his wife was truly amazing. What a talented guy!
Jenny is my little sister, so of course, she called me for her engagement shoot! We took a few of her engagement photos at Yorgo’s Bageldashery where her fiancé, Donnie, proposed. [Fun fact: Yorgo’s had not one, but two proposals this spring! If you’re thinking of popping the question, people seem to have a lot of luck with this place.]
Ashley and Connor will be getting married in Tennessee. Connor is in the military, so I was excited to capture some memories of their time in Hampton Roads. Quick shout out to Kim Trotto at About Face Makeup Artistry — my #1 Peninsula Makeup Artist recommendation! The natural makeup on Ashley was to die for!
Alice and Chris have the BEST sense of humor and met at Grace O’ Malley’s Irish Pub where we did some of the photos as well as some vintage-style portraits at The Pagoda in Norfolk.
Robert loves to fish, so Lynsey came prepared to Newport News Park for a fun fishing-themed engagement session. The lake was so beautiful that day and I really love the images we captured of these two.
