This was my first Vintager Inn wedding in the beautiful New Kent, VA and I can’t wait to go back! While an outdoor wedding had been the plan, the threat of rain moved the ceremony indoors but the setting was just as beautiful in their red barn. If you are looking for a rustic barn wedding with indoor and outdoor options you have to check out this wedding venue!
I wore my lucky “anti-rain” raincoat and we ended up with only a few sprinkles all day so we were able to get outside and do a lot of our portraits (yes, I’m taking a little credit ;). And I only had time to scratch the surface of all the beautiful photo spots at this New Kent wedding venue, the owners definitely had wedding photographers in mind when they did the landscaping (I was actually looking for the “photo op” signs). Despite a few hiccups, including running out of alcohol which led to the bride and groom toasting with moonshine instead of champagne, Kayla and Alex remained in great spirits and the party went strong until the very last dance.
Thank you to Astro DJ for the music, Rev. Cory Newell for leading a fun and energetic ceremony, and a huge thank you to Tracy, the manager at the Vintager Inn, who was AMAZING all day and night and even did the makeup for most of the bridal party! Love working with all of you and here is a sneak peak while I finish editing the few thousand photos I took on Saturday.
