First I have to say how much I LOVE Williamsburg Winery weddings!!!!! From the beautiful rooms at Wedmore Place to the majestic open fields, old architecture, and vineyards, I am always excited to photograph a wedding at the Williamsburg Winery.
Kristy & James’ wedding was no exception. After a rainy week the fields had a few days to dry up and we had great weather for their outdoor ceremony. Despite a traffic problem delaying a few vendors (luckily not me!), the groom’s son having car trouble, and a few other mishaps all the details came together just in time – thank you Christy at Events by Truly Yours!
And as usual, officiant Cory Newell kept things entertaining and lighthearted throughout the ceremony and got a lot of laughs when talking about the bride & groom’s “favorite body part” (not what you’re think! 😉 A late start meant the sun had set by the time the ceremony ended so I really got to exercise my night portrait skills at this Williamsburg Winery wedding and I couldn’t be happier with the results, and neither could the bride:
“I got so absorbed in looking at the photos that I forgot my manners to tell you we got them (so sorry! :(). They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. 🙂 So many of them brought tears to my eyes. You caught every last little detail. You got so many great ones of James laughing and smiling. So many emotional ones too. I love them. I can’t wait to pour over them some more over this weekend. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!” – Kristy
HUGE thanks to the Williamsburg Winery, Kim at About Face MUA for doing a beautiful job on the bride’s makeup, the infamous Cakealicious, hair by Dolce Vita Salon, Schmidt’s flowers, DreamClip Films, Ed at Colonial DJ’s.
