This camp is ideal for children ages 7-12 who want to learn how to look at the world around them with an artistic eye and how to compose better pictures.
Little Details: Campers bring their own cameras (or tablet, cell phone, etc.), lunch, and will have fun learning artistic ways to see everyday objects along with open play, crafts, and making friends.
Price: $165/ child. Camp runs Wednesday-Friday, 10am-noon.
Parents are welcome to co-work in the cafe or drop off, children over the age of 3 and potty trained can be dropped off for supervised open play & snack for an additional $35/ child. Parents provide a lunch, reusable water bottle, and there is a waiver required for Drop Off Care.
Included: Each camper will be provided grip socks daily, one-on-one feedback, crafts, a certificate of completion, a framed copy of their favorite shot, and tips on composition, lighting, and anything else (photo related) that they have questions about.
Kid’s Photo Camp in Williamsburg
Each day, students will learn about seeing everyday objects in an artistic way and by using creative composition and different angles. They will then practice by taking photos of objects in the open play area – while having fun and making friends. They will be supervised so drop off is available and younger siblings can play (supervised) in the open play area for $35/ child.
On the last day, each student will pick their favorite photo and a slideshow will be created to share with parents and online. Framed prints will be available to pick up 2 weeks later or can be mailed.
PLEASE NOTE: Photos may be taken of students and shared on Facebook and Instagram so if you prefer your camper’s images are not shared, please ask about private classes offered by Heather Hughes Photography.
This Purchase is non-refundable. If campers are unable to attend for any reason, the fee may be transferred to a gift certificate to use at Heather Hughes Photography within 60 days.
