Chrysler Museum of Art Wedding
Katie & Andrew are one of my favorite couples and I absolutely loved their Disney wedding theme of Beauty and the Beast – it was a true fairytale wedding story from beginning to end.
As Katie put it, she “had to kiss a lot of frogs, but it was totally worth it! We actually only started talking because Andrew inadvertently insulted me! He thought he read on my online profile that I hadn’t completed college, so his opening line was to ask me if I was a “real” engineer. It’s so funny now, but at the time I was very offended and I soundly corrected him. He apologized and recovered quite well, obviously!”
Katie loves how Andrew makes her feel safe and loved, especially when the world seems too rough. He opens doors and hands her tissues when she happy cries at weddings and TV shows. He has always been the perfect gentleman.
Andrew loved the red dress she wore to their first date and how incredibly smart & independent she is. He loves that he can intelligently discuss a wide range of topics with her on everything from the current political climate in Europe to the shift in video game demographics after the introduction of micro-transactions.

And the Chrysler Museum of Art was the perfect setting for their Disney wedding, Huber Court looks like the inside of a castle!
From the red roses at the engagement session to the perfect vintage centerpieces from Mad Hatter Vintage, Katie really put a lot of thought into everything and pulled together the Disney theme perfectly. And despite a delay thanks to Covid, it all worked out perfectly.
