One of the most gorgeous sunset river views is in Williamsburg’s Governors Land at Two Rivers Country Club. So when I found my calendar clear for a few months due to the pandemic, I reached out and collaborated with their amazing staff to update their photos with a stylized wedding shoot to show off the picture-perfect spots inside and out. The website isn’t updated quite yet, so you’re getting an exclusive sneak peak of what’s coming!

No wedding day is complete without a professional team of vendors, so I pulled in a few of my favorite Williamsburg wedding vendors to work with me and we created some gorgeous, timeless photos that everyone has started to share. Summer Williamsburg Wedding
But even with a stylized shoot, there are always a few stories to tell of mishaps and challenges to overcome.
We organized the Governors Land at Two Rivers wedding shoot in May – but the pandemic was still going strong so we had to reschedule to July – and one of the hottest days of the summer. So I adjusted things a little to shoot as much indoors as we could first, and then go to our spots outside with plenty of water in hand. Due to a scheduling conflict, our videographer had to leave early so he came back a couple days later to get the gorgeous sunset view. And our models DJ West & Shina had to bring their kids along – and then listen to their son cry while we were doing the indoor portraits (because he couldn’t be held) – as a fellow parent it tore at my heart strings but we all made it through with smiles in the end.
