Micro Wedding at the Chrysler Museum
Thanks to COVID, weddings in 2020 have looked a little different. Jess and Eric didn’t want to reschedule their September wedding at the Chrysler Museum so they turned it into a Micro Wedding and with just 30 guests it was even more fun & gorgeous than some of my 150+ weddings from years past. I was overjoyed that they were able to work with their friends and family to keep their date, and as my absolute FAVORITE Norfolk venue, I’m always excited for weddings at the picture-perfect Chrysler Museum!
Chrysler Museum Wedding
If you are looking for vendors, this list is the perfect place to start. Jessica hired the A-Team for her wedding day, and with so many experienced professionals it is no surprise that everything went according to schedule. From the exchange of gifts, to the portraits in the garden beforehand, to the GORGEOUS sunset for the portraits after the ceremony, every picture-perfect moment we planned for happened and it couldn’t have happened to a better couple.
Norfolk Wedding
It wasn’t love at first sight when Jess & Eric met years ago in Tennessee, but they quickly grew on each other and their shared joy for life is sure to keep them together.
For this micro wedding, all the vendors wore masks the entire time, chairs were spaced further apart for the ceremony, and masks were worn for most of the reception by most of the guests. And despite this, you can see the happiness & joy shine through in all the photos.
The reception was full of laughter, dancing, and the now infamous sparkular exit provided by Stage Right Lighting. If you’ve never seen these shooting firework fountains I highly recommend considering them for your next event. Controlled via remote and lasting about a minute to several minutes, they light up the night and create the perfect sparkler photo backdrop.
